Our Integrated Future Projects
To move our community from crisis to a permanent legacy of hope, we have launched a comprehensive $250,000 development plan. This goal funds four interconnected pillars—Housing, Education, Agriculture, and Industry—designed to create a self-sufficient ecosystem for the orphaned children and abandoned mothers of the Kalangala islands. Explore each project below to see how your contribution brings this vision to life.
Many children on the remote islands are left without family or protection due to the unique hardships of island life. The Sanctuary Shelter Home will be a dedicated, safe haven providing 24/7 care, clothing, and medical support for vulnerable orphaned children. It is more than just a building; it is a family environment designed to heal trauma and restore childhood.
Education is the only exit strategy from poverty. This school will provide high-quality, foundational learning for our sheltered children and the surrounding island community. By integrating modern curriculum with vocational values, we ensure that every child—regardless of their background—has the literacy and critical thinking skills needed to lead in the new economy.
To ensure our children never go hungry, we are establishing a high-yield Pasture Pride Farm. This project includes a vast banana plantation for local staples and a dedicated Livestock Section for goats and cattle. This farm serves a dual purpose: providing fresh, organic milk and meat for the home, while acting as a practical training ground for sustainable agribusiness.
The heart of our nutrition and empowerment strategy is a 20-ton automatic Chinese corn mill. This facility will process maize, millet, rice, cassava, and sorghum into high-grade fortified flours.
